"This is a great collection of articles from experienced coaches and trainers - many of them well-known names. Coaches at any level will benefit from the insights offered. Topics cover a wide range from the philosophical (coaching principles and objectives) through adminstrative (club, team adn league management) and nuts and bolts (training for specific outcomes, developing training activities, fitness)."
"I bought this book when I first began coaching High School soccer. This book covers a variety of topics, most of which were not in any way applicable to my program. I gave this book three stars because I firmly believe that a book which calls itself "The Soccer Coaching Bible" should be far more usable by far more people than just the high-end club coaches (who frankly, probably don't need the help). There were some very useful discussions on tactics and strategy, but for the most part this book has sat on the shelf. Some very big name coaches contributed to this work, and there is a lot of information here, but most of it will be completely not useful to the majority of coaches who could really use a soccer 'bible'."
"Nicely organized book for any soccer coach or aspiring coach. This covers ground that some books tend to miss. We've used this in our youth clinics and drill instruction. I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone that will be putting time into the development of athletes and/or teams."
